Supercharged B18c Sir
OK i have a 91 4-door civic and i'm looking at getting a superhcarger for the b18c i have in it. Hasport makes the JR kit to fit in my car but it doesn't give me the HP gains i'm looking for i think i was wondering what i would have to modify to make the integra GSR jackson racing fit and if i can get different cogs and pulley to increase the boost on the hasport one. I do understand that i am limited in HP gains because it is a supercharger not a turbo. Any info would be appriciated thanks.
Ok, you are a noob, but go to the forced induction section and look through there.
What you need is a GSR Jackson supercharger since it's the only one that will bolt up to your head.
You want an LS intake "S" tube. This is the piece that goes between the supercharger and the throttle body. By doing this, you put the throttle body where it will clear the heater control valve (at the firewall).
You then want to send the intake manifold and S tube to "LHT" so they can cut it apart and put in an intercooler (water to air, which means you need a cooler core for the water.
Then buy some aftermarket pulleys for more boost.
Before you fire it up, line up a good tuner to program up a custom chip for the ECU.
Oh, and don't forget some 440 injectors.

you dont absolutely need a jackson. IF, i said if, you are a good fabricator or know someone who is, you can get a Vortech, Paxton, or a Pro-charger and fabricate the mounting brackets and take out your A/C. If you have A/C.
The other problem i'm running into is that the pulley system on the JR kit will hit the master brake cyclinder hasport wont say if it works or not, and jackson has no idea either. I understand what is needed to install the kit but fitment and ease of install is my biggest concern i don't want to have to plasma cut my engine bay just for a supercharger when i can make a turbo kit that bolts right in with little modifications to the body. As for the other kits like procharger and vortec have you guys heard about anyone who has done that setup in there car? i'm sure it could be done but again ease of install. Thanks for your help.
