Finally fixed + a couple questions
Well, finally got my car back! Took it to Val Strough Honda in Monterey with a bent valve or two. Also wanted to have the timing kit changed out and didnt have time to figure out how to do it on my own. While they were changing out the crank pulley they found out the crank pulley bolt had been helicoiled and while they were trying to take it off they ended up breaking it. After some arguing they admitted it was their fault and rather than trying to repair it I got a brand new factory H22A4 short block from Honda. For almost nothing.
It gets better. Apparently while they were putting the short block in, someone tried to start the car when everything wasnt set properly and ended up bending like 6 valves. So I got them to give me a completely free valve job. So after a month of living without a car I ended up getting pretty much a brand new engine. I drove a 93 Mustang LX for 4 years before buying this car and I thought I had made a huge mistake when I realized I had bought a car with engine problems but karma ended up shining on me and its great to finally have a car I can be proud of.
If anyone lives in the Bay Area, I recommend Val Strough Honda. They messed up the valves but the valve job I got out of it was top notch and they actually admitted to bending the valves which I found suprisingly honorable.
Anyway, my question is, now that the car is in top condition, the first thing I want to do is change out the suspension to a Koni Yellow + Ground Control coilover setup. All the websites exclude the SH model in their applications but I assume this just has to do with the ATTS. So, why do they exclude the SH? If you use the base model application does it require anything extra? Do you lose ATTS when you drop it a certain height? Thanks for your help guys.

the base and SH have a slightly different spring and shock, so it is model specific, but if you swap out to a whole new shock and coilover it fits the SH same as the base, so its all one part, just no interchanging between the 2 on springs or shocks seperately. So far as lowering I think you are fine, but too much power will override the ATTS, the number is given as 245 or 275 HP depending who you ask.
