Hello Everyone,
I have a 91 civic si with stock motor, can i use an ecu from a DOHC integra to riase my redline, and my fuel mix, and timing? Will this do anything for me? Is this possable?
Can someone please give me any info?

90-93 (mabey 91 i dont remember) obd0 teg ecu will work. you will run rich w/o mods raising redline on stock valvetrains isnt a good idea. valves will stretch and you can spin berrings.

thanks i didn't know about the valves could i put bigger valves in to correct that problem? would there be other problems involved

What will happen during high rpm is the valves float, causing retainers and or springs to break, or the valves to stick open. then they fall down into the combustion chamber.

I dont think a different ecu will do anything for performance.

I dont think a different ecu will do anything for performance.
I think he's right - I think you're better off just getting your ECU chipped somwhere for a higher redline and better fuel curve, if that's all you want.
