Default ecu for 91 civic

will an ecu from a si crx improve the performance on a 91 civic lx

probably not, because if memory serves me right, an LX has dual-point injection, which uses only 2 injectors rather than 4 like on multi-port injection (Si models). You can plug an Si (PM6) ecu in and see what happens...it wont hurt anything.

Yep, a 91 civic lx has dual point fuel injection and the Si "PM6" ecu is supposed to run a multipoint fuel injected motor.
