No this is not your typical "how good does this setup work?" question:
My 95 EX is currently equipped with stock struts on Neuspeed sports. I'll be buying a full set of Tokico Illuminas within the next 24 hours. I know that Tokico makes these struts for my car but will I need to specify to them that I am not using factory springs? Or does the 1.5" drop all the way around even matter when it comes to choosing a gas strut?

Just finished installing the Illuminas
Great struts, night and day difference from my worn out factory struts.

I have a set of Illumina's on my 94 LX with Skunk2 3 inch drop springs. I love the way it handles but it's too low for my wife to drive and I just got a fix it ticket. If your car handles anything like mine, I'm sure you'll love them.

Most states require headlights to be a certain distance from the ground
And they handle like a dream, I hit one our more popular roads around the lake at about 70 and didn't have a problem.

the weird thing about tokico is they dont list anything for EX models and the suspension from an EX and LX are identical (aside from the EX oem sway)
i have had a set of tokico blues on my EX for like 5 yrs now and they have done the job.

LOL! In Va the legal limit is 14" from the top of the bumper to the ground. I measured 12" in the front and 13" in the rear. Va sucks sometimes.
