How low of a drop is a personal preference.

Springs:
H&R
Eibach
Neuspeed
Skunk2

Shocks:
KYB AGX
Koni sports
Tokico Illuminas

Those are the only shock/springs I'd buy off the top of my head.

don't cheap out that's the worst u can do, i cheeped out at first and bought a set of those crappy wanna be adjustable coil overs from reactive and expletive that was harsh ride i got rid of them within 2 months and bought Tein S tech springs and love them they have a progressive rate spring which gives a nice ride but can take a mean bump without bottoming out. i also went out and got KYB AGX Shocks with adjustable damping and i love them i keep them nice and soft normally but when i feel like carving just set the ******* to stiff and hang one, i just have a strut bar and the stock front sway bar for now.

I heard kyb aren't good for lowered cars. Why not go for Tokicos.

Nope, you are wrong buddy pal. There have been many people who blew out their KYB's with over a 1.5" drop. They are ok with slight drops, but for lower drops, I highly recommend Koni's or Tokicos.

and do you have a link, or site that proves your statement.
i had kyb gr-2 w/arospeed coilovers on my first civic (95 ex), had no problems.
i know 2 civic currently with kyb, one has gr-2 and the other has agx. they too have never had a problem.

and how can you speak bad of them, if you yourself never used them before?
