Buddy Club Spec III+
Ok, so I want a little bit more power on my setup now. I current have a JDM B16A SiR II. Current mods are:
CP 12:1 Comp pistons, MSD Blaster Coil SS, MSD Dizzy Cap, MSD Wires, Apexi N1 Catback with a Type One Racing Test pipe, and bleh DC headers. I am ready to buy some cams. I am looking at the Buddy Club Spec 3+, a friend of mine told me that they are proven to run on stock valve springs, retainers, etc etc. Should I buy them and use it on the factory internals or just wait longer and buy the whole shebang? And obviously I would need a tune after putting them in, what do you all suggest on that? Any input would be great I have searched some, but haven't really answered any of my questions.

I believe, that you should do it the right way, not saying that the stock valvetrain is garbage, but if you want more power cams are the way too go, so if you dont like buddy clubs and want other cams you'll kick yourself in the *** for not just getting springs and retainers. IMO the basic upgrades that are not completely necessary are great in the long run, even when pricey. GOOD LUCK
