i've only driven the car once recently to move it to a new residence, because i'm still having problems with the car running hott, or possibly just the thermostat going crazy. i had to pull over twice because the thermo runs all the way up into the H sometimes, but i could still place my hand on the valve cover as if it weren't reading right. also an oil leak leaving fresh oil between the block and head, and grunge all around the vtec solenoid etc.. there is fluid, premium gas, and good oil in the car to note the simple things. could it be related? head gasket?

the fan has its own independent switch, possibly an insufficient fan for the swap?

only mods are
full jdm b16a swap
dc sport headers
intake/exhaust
stage 2 clutch/flywheel

Hmmmm........It's tough to tell. I dont like the sound of the head gasket thing.

 

Is the fan coming on? Did you bleed the coolant properly with the bleeder screw? Have you changed the thermostat?
