I already searched for methods on resetting keyless remotes. On numerous occasions, I have successfully reset my two remotes so that they lock, unlock, and pop my trunk. The problem is that after ten minutes or so, it's like I never did the reset, and the remotes go back to not working.

Not sure what to do, but it's a bit of an inconvenience as my trunk has no keyhole (00 Acura EL) and I have to open the door to get at the release.

Any clues? I assume that it has all the same systems and wiring as a 99-00 Civic, and like I said, I have successfully reset the remotes so that they function. I just need to make it stick.
