eng running hot

i just did a eng swap and got everything hooked up right. it topped off with coolant but its running hot.... the upper rad. hose doesnt feel like it has ne coolant in it... whats wrong????

You might have some air in the coolant system.

I think to fix that you need to let the car idle with the radiator cap off and check to see if any bubbles pop up.
