You should make the inlet on the ducting for the intercooler smaller than the core size. Glad to see someone finally using a proper duct instead of just cutting holes in the bumper.

Looking good man. Your arms look like you're lifting weights or something trying to put that buffalo sized turbo in there!

That setup is crazy
The IC air duct looks like it will make a good heat sink as well.

Q. Did you consider pulse timming of each runner for the mani design?

I noticed the alternating sequence between the two outlets (3,2:1,4), but my question is regarding the runner lenghts. I'd like to know if there's a benifit to having lenghts such that pulse 1 and 3 arrive to divided outlet same time during RPM (at peak torque or something)... Basically any wave theory applied to choosing runner lenghts?

Well.......obviously i have 1/4 on one side and 2/3 going in on the other, hence dividing firing cylinders. As far as runner length i try and use the same amount of bends on 1/4 and 2/3 using as much straight as possible. But easier said than done trying to fit a gt42 and not copy another design!! I absolutely will not use any elses ideas on my products. So....i did what i could and i couldnt be happier with the results. Its almost done welding so ill post em up when its done...Thanks for the compliments guys i take a lot of pride in my work!

Rest of the setup included mazworx cams, fully ported head, victor x, bdl 74mm tb, 4" dp, twin 38mm gates, 1000's, and aem. Once i get the suspension on and the car tuned on this setup Ill be getting the fuel system next, whoot!!

Pulse arriving at the same time? This shouldn't be happening.

That duct probably follows the border of the bumper opening.

Well they could... Pulses are so close together anyway at high rpm. I was thinking if you set runners so that during certain rpm range they create constructive interference where velocity increases at the pulse. May not be practical since this would result in less pulses over time.

I have no experience in manifold design, just wanted to learn how much is concideration of theory Vs application challanges such as trying to fit a gt42 while using least amount of bends, etc...

That turbo is hilarious. In my world, a 57 trim is huge ...

Beautiful work by the way.

Good luck with not copying anyone in any situation as as soon as you think you have something original you still copied the idea of putting the turbo on top

Not this one, its my personal manifold. All the rest of my manifolds that i have on order will be backpurged i just finished the setup last night. I work for a manifold company now, cant say who tho, and i belive we are the one of VERY few companys with absolutely no comebacks. Besides in the last 3 shops ive worked at ive only seen wastegates crack, not runners...but like i said we've never had one problem. The head flange is welded front/back and collector is welded in/out......

Boostwerks.......to answer your ?'s.
First of all my buddy took that pic before i lowered the turbo onto the flange lol, it clears just fine. And i DO add filler parallel, im not a newb to welding. I was just tacking....

Coo. I figured as much after looking at the pics again...hence why I deleted the question...

BTW, do you weld the runner's on or off the manifold? Just curious.
