Default piston and rod recomandation

Okay so I'm buildin an ls for my 93 hatch heres what I got so far:

95 ls head port & polished
skunk2 valve springs
skunk2 tit retainers
Delta turbo ls cams
skunk2 manifold
skunk2 70mm tb
stock b18b1 bottom end (for now)

Now my question is what piston rod combo to go with I want some thin that can handle around 450hp and be decently reliable cuz this motor is gonna wind up in my girls car when I get done with it. Any personal preference? just kinda curious? I'm lookin to run around 15psi daily and around 20 at the track.

you will get everyone telling you their preference, but thats all it is..

any piston and rod will make that kind of power...

I went with Wisecos and eagles last year...

Im goin for more power now so i went with CP and Pauter rods

I cracked a stock ringlanding the other month while at the track, so i guess you should never use those either

Most people break aftermarket parts to to improper install.

If you have the money go with CP pistons and Manley rods, on a budget go with SRP's and Eagles.

Eagle rods and Arias pistons. We do alot of straight LS setups like this. great results.

I've built a few LS set ups and I had great luck with Wiseco and Eagle.. My straight 2.0 LS set up went 11.0 @ 126 on 15 psi with 93 octane.

Usually anything pink or very expensive with an italianish name will do.

In this case, you have a few bandwagons to jump on, but I suggest the tried & true combo of eagle rods with wiseco, JE, CP, or arias pistons. You'll find people with issues with every performance part known to man, and if you dig deeper, you'll find its usually from mitigating cercumstances.

Any decent forged piston will get you 450hp, I went with CP (because the builder is biased towards them).
Eagle rods will be perfect for your build, good product for only 300$.
