1) What is that name of the gasket under the valve cover? Is it valve cover gasket? because the guy at Auto Zone said there is no such thing...

2) My car idle's (when sitting at stop light) between 500 and 1000 rpm's is that too low?

2. Idle should be 750+/- 50 rpm

no, that's around where it needs to be. mine idles at about 700 steady.
