Powerslot brake rotors
Is anyone using these rotors?? What kind of brake pads are recommended with these rotors?? I'm getting sick of stock rotors!! they keep on getting warped, i'm on my second pair and i only got 27,000km on my car. When i brake from high speeds, i'm getting a violet vibration from the brakes, it feels like the friggen wheel is about to fall off!!
had powerslot rotors.
waste of money unless you are a puddle driving rally maniac.
rusted quickly in the slots and edges anyways.
oem brembo is the way to go. really, trust me.
I opted to go with a fastbrakes 2 pc 11" rotor with directional cooling vanes, all under Prelude VTEC calipers.... a nice but $500 upgrade. You can even go with the Wilwood calipers for better brake feel.... that would be NICE

slotted rotors will certainly not help with warping. make sure who ever is bolting your wheels on that they are torquing the lugs to 80 ft/lbs of torque
i have the same set up as owen for brakes. very nice setup if you want better braking power.
also, if you ever go out and drive hard. make sure that they are fully cooled down before you park your car.

I would say get some Brembo OEM blanks and some good pads. http://www.carbotecheng.com for more info. I have the Axxis ultimates.
Hmm I'm using Brembo blanks/solids and Hawk Hps pads haven't had a problem w/ warpage... I got this set up to replace my stock warped rotors and worn pads... make sure you/or the shop doesnt overtighten the lug nuts and to tighten them evenly... also after hard driving try not to park right away or sit stationary in traffic.. as the part the caliper is over will have a lot of heat and could cause it to warp.. also dont wash your car after a hard drive or when the rotors are hot..the cold water/diff in temps could also warp your rotors...

Er...sorry to intrude on your post. But I have the rotors from the AEM big brake kit (cross drilled and slotted) brand new for $400 if anyone is interested.
I have the caliper brace so you can reuse your stock calipers. It's a 4x100 pattern and it's blue.
It's this exact one without the calipers.

my wheels are torqued properly to 80lbs but i might have not let the brakes cool off after a couple of hard runs. So slotted rotors will rust in the slots?? Its kinda pointless to get those i guess. I also have another question.. if the rotors are warped, and you replace them is it a must to replace the pads also??
some brembo cross drilled and slotted rotors with axxis metal masters and some ATE Super Racing Break fluid should be a good setup for the integra.... had mine for at least 2 months and so far its a
what are the brake rotors that dont rust? i saw this guy with these slotted/drilled rotors, and they dont rust at all. they looked kinda silverish, and he said they were stainless steel... does that sound right? i didnt know they made rotors outta stainless steel...
What are some good brake pads that give a little more stopping power than stock, I don't want some hardcore pads that will eat up rotors just something better than stock pads. thanks
