Default Jdm H22A Oil

Whats going on guys i just wanted to know if i was using the right oil in my car, it has a Jdm H22a with 27XXX miles, right now it doesn't burn any oil between oil changes and im using 5w 30, is this correct? thanks

it depends on the climate where you live, but yes, generally 5w 30 is recommended

Was using castrol 0-30 (GC), but realized the Type S motor was more responsive with baby's blood

EDIT: Typed 0-40 when i meant 0-30

Btw, here is the Castrol 0w-30 that i am referring to, also affectionately known as "German Castrol" (GC):

suppose to work better for honda's
works great for me and it doesn't burn off as much.
been using it for years and i am using it in my current h23vtec. switched to it from torco sr5 5-w30 after about 1500 miles.
so far i have 4,200 miles
