EK Foglights.
Nope I didnt buy fake ****, my boy. I know its fake. The question is how can you tell its fake? Is there something that some have that others dont?
well look on th glass and see if they say DEPO? DEPO = NO GOOD
I just returned my 99-00 depo lights I got from password JDM and bought OEM's for the same price.

Real JDM fogs have Stanley somewhere on the lens i believe. DEPO is another brand (aftermarket replica), but im not sure how to tell on those.
Well as far as I was concerned. Real JDM foglights say RAYBRIG or Stanley on the glass. DEPO is a good quality aftermarket replica. But the ones that my friend bought are even cheaper than those DEPO ones. Also Honda Access.

There's nothing wrong with Depo lights at all, they're just not OEM. They preform the same way for a fraction of the price.

Yup. The only difference is wiring and that you can turn them on without headlights. But some people have complained about the actual light assembly being poorly sealed. Others haven't.
But you should've gone with OEM. Can't beat OEM quality.
Oh and the only real difference between authentic JDM and eBayDM is just quality really. Oh and there's the "look-at-me-I-cost-$300-more-but-JDM-is-stuck-to-my-product-name".

That's exactly where I got my OEM fogs from. $137 shipped to my door and they work like a charm. On top of that, I bought genuine Osram H1 SilverStar's and they're bright as f00k

HandaAcc. great if you have a 99-00...otherwise youre SOL and need to either buy used or aftermarket.
I dont know why people bitch about esuse/depo kits...mine work just fine. I had ONE leak issue but hell factory sets leak too. Resealed and no issues since.

I seem to recall a post over on ClubCivic where someone actually knew of a place that sold ESUSE fogs for 96-98 that were good quality.
But yeah you're right. It's just luck really too when it comes to buying DEPO vs. ESUSE. Everyone complains about a different thing.

Because peopel have problems. I've had both Esuse and DEPO. We've had a totla of three sets of lights here for our two 96-98 Civics. The one DEPO set was ****. It leaked, had repeated bad grounds, and finally a screw snapped off in the housing. The other two sets are Esuse and have never had a problem.

That would have been me. I hear they're out of stock though and no one's been able to get them for awhile.
Another plus to the Esuse lights is I know the stock interior harness connects to them, so if you want, you can order the stock harness and stock switch. It will work with the car and you'll have the OEM switch instead (the aftermarket ones don't look the same).

Correction, you CAN have problems with anything. I have had ZERO problems with my Esuse lights. The other set of Esuse lights we have had have ZERO problems.
As I said before, I have heard of lots of problems with the DEPO lights and no problems with Esuse lights. So the odds are stacked against DEPO. I've heard of some having no problems with DEPO... but it seems it's more likley to not have problems if you go with Esuse.
