Anyone running HIDs in their tegs?????
i was wondering if any of you guys with HIDs in their tegs get pulled over and harassed by cops for having them. I want to get a set, but i dont want to deal with the possibility of getting pulled over all the time for having them. Thanks for the input.

Don't want to get hassled? Do an HID projector retrofit with 4300K bulbs. Don't buy into all the 6000K and up BS. They are NOT brighter, and they look like ****-hole. An HID projector retrofit ensures factory OEM HID optics, and MUCH, MUCH superior beam pattern and output than simply sticking an HID kit in the stock halogen projectors.

same here, except I'm running the philips 4300 kit. Its not all purplish/blueish so it doesn't draw a lot of attention.

cool, i was going to go with 4300k if i did get them. So if i dont do a retrofit and just stick in an hid kit from one of those honda tech marketplace sponsors, it wont look as good? Also, which hid kits do you recommend?
I have HID rebased bulbs in my Teg and I love them to be honest. A little common sense goes a long way and you need to aim them conservatively or you will get messed with. The cut off is not as good as doing it right but for $275 I cant argue. They ARE much brighter than stock and I am using 6K bulbs
i'm another person who is too lazy to retrofit and doesn't see the benefit because honestly i dont care that much...but i bought McCollough 6000k and haven't ever gotten harassed...having said that, i dont live in California either. In ND, you dont have anything to worry about....for example, i'm running open downpipe right now
interesting stuff, read up about lighting!
