e-brake problem
So I'm not quite sure whats going on but every time I accelerate my brake warning light goes on, and when I let off the gas, it turns off. Its a 99 civic and I have no idea what could be causing it. Any help would be great, thanks guys.
Check you brake master cyl. You are probly low on brake fluid. There is a little magnetic sensor that floats inside there that will turn on the light if the fluid gets low. It's probly sloshing back when you accelerate.
Low fluid is also a sign that your brakes may getting close to replacement time.

did you check your brake fuild level? that light is not just for your ebrake.. it comes on when you brake fuild level gets too low.. it make be right at the border line of this mark and when you hit the hit the fuild moves making the light come on
yah I found ou the hard way. I thought I had a bad E-brake switch so I tore apart the center console and was trying to make the light go off. I finally looked through a repair manual and checked the MC.
