Default ITR shift **** differences

Is there any difference between the USDM optional titanium **** and the JDM ITR one? Did a search and nothing concrete came up on this subject.

the Canadian ITR's never got the metal shift ****, they always came with the leather one, must have figured it was too cold in winter or something. You could order one from a Canadian Acura dealer (dunno if they sell them at US dealers), but they are priced on the high side.

The titanium shift ***** may be too cold in the winter for Canadians, but they are also too friggin' hot in the summer for Texans After leaving his Type-R parked in the sun for a couple of hours last summer, my friend would have to unscrew the **** and shift without it... While I held the **** in front of the air vents, trying to cool it down enough to make it usable
