Ever since i got my 1992 si lude when i leave it in the sun it wont start and every time i turn it off and come back 3 minutes later it wont start. It just turns over but wont fire up. Its so weird. Does anyone have a clue whats wrong here. Please.

my guess too.

if hot weather is affecting it, then more than like it is that main (fuel) relay

i have a similar problem with my 98 base prelude. my car starts, but it has a hard time starting. i always thought it was a fuel problem. why do you guys think it would be a main relay?

Main relay, VERY well known and common problem. Pull it out and resolder the contacts. With temperature changes the contacts expand / contract and can break.

...i also had a 92 si before the swap and had the same problem ...when i left my car in the sun for a long time and tried to turn it on it would crank but not start for like 10 mins...i heard it might be the MAIN RELAY so i bought a new one and never had that problem again

Had the same problem with my first 92 lude. Main relay was the culprit.
