im doin ls vtec b18b block b16 head, p30 pistons, some sort of cams prolly skunk 2 stage 2, hondata, itr header.... any suggestions on a brand for the head gasket? heard good things about cometic but just wondering

cometic makes a special gasket for ls/vtec,i used it!

 

Golden Eagle, they use an oem one but modify it to fit the dowel pins and it comes with the kit when you order it

 

I would probably go cometic...i have heard good things, specially if you are goin over 11-1 compression

 

i used a cometic on my LS/VTEC with P30 pistons and had no problems

Huh, my car is a bit over 13.3 static and I use OEM. Wonder why that is?

 

OEM... I use it on my ls/vtec and I have no problems. 12K on the motor after 5 HPDE's last year and alot of drag racing.
