supercharged civic... Help needed
I have a d16z6 stock running a JRSC, Im only running 3 - 5 pounds of boost right now and Im looking to upgrade before I have my car chipped and tuned, ive looked around on the JR website but cant seem to find just a pulley upgrade, i have a walbro 255, rc 370s, aem fuel rail. i want to run like 8 - 11 psi but I have no idea where I should buy the pulleys. Any help is appreciated, thanks
in my case, i have to go find a shop that had a distributor that carried jr parts to get them to get the distributor to order a smaller pulley. kind of a hassle but w/e. vortech actually sells the pulleys on their site, so they are little easier to deal with.
id like to order the parts online today, just because I live so far away from any shop, and I need to know how much boost ill be running before I get my ecu chipped
nicko,
I'm looking at the same thing, but going to go Hondata s300 and smooth out the driveability before I up the boost (looking at 8psi too, eventually).
There's been talk about this in the Supercharged forum over at SuperHonda.com (ksniper's search for more boost), so if you haven't already, you can root around there for some info.
What I've come across is that Jim at Motorvations Motorsports may be able to provide a smaller pulley for larger boost. Same with Energy Dynamics (Endyn) - their website shows pulleys as well - not sure what application, but they do know their **** about JRSC.
Good luck!
