Would like to raise boost from standard 6psi to 8-9psi (JRSC D-series)...HELP!
I bought the JRSC for the D-series (97ex D16Y8) about 9 years ago, brand new. It came with the standard 6psi pulley, I believe 3.8". I've been searching the 'internets' for hours trying to find the upgraded JRSC 8 psi pulley, but can't find anything. I've been reading different threads on different websites, and found something about endyn stepper pullies and MVM stepper pullies being able to raise boost. I can't find anyone that sells these things though, someone help please. I would like to run 8-9psi. I'm getting a dyno tune soon, 410cc's, warblo fuel pump, 1 step colder plugs, some kind of ECU upgrade (don't know details, the tuner quoted me 350-450 for the ecu upgrade). Also would a B-series 8psi pulley work on the D-series? On the jackson racing website they sell the upgraded pulley for the 00-99 si, but it is the whole kit, wonder if they could sell just the pulley, only if it will work on the d series.
Why no JRSC upgrade parts for the D-series?

You'll need the 3.4" pulley.
Stepper pulleys don't apply to the D series setup.
Call Keith at Moss Motors...he should be able to tell you where to get a 3.4"...in fact, he may have one in stock.
I believe the D-series setup is the oldest JRSC for Hondas. There's not a huge market for D-series upgrade parts so people don't sell them.
Might want to have your charger rebuilt if it's 9 years old.

Do I still need to get it rebuild?? the charger has around 45k miles on it. If that's the case I'm done with this car, not really looking dump money into it, plus it has a salvaged title......Thanks for the info though, I will contact Keith, to see what he says, are they in US?

If you S/C only has 45k on it and you've been running the stock (5-6lb) boost, you'll be fine.
Yes, that's the site:

You should def be able to find a 3.4" boost pulley as this was the size that originally came on the D16a6 kit.
Looks like some are for sale in this thread:
