Transmission Mount
so driving down my street today and the car started to sound funny. I do a walk around of the car and notice nothing bad. when i look under the car i noticed my exhaust had snapped off at the cat and i firgure that, thats whats been making the noise right? WRONG i try to back onto my drive way and cant seem to move anymore. i try again and all i get is high revving. so i look under my motor to find my motor is sitting sidways...and look on the passenger side mount and notice the bolt had come out..so now my axle came out on the passenger side and 3 bearings came out..anyone wanna help me out? i just purchased the car a couple weeks ago aswell. thanks! i will post up pics in a bit.

W/o seeing the mount it's hard to see if putting a new bolt in will be the only fix it needs. if there is no other damage to anything else (other than what's mentioned) then all you need to do is jack up the tranny to take the load off the mount and take that thing out to inspect it for damage. You have to take out the battery and remove a few other things to make the mount accessible but it's really easy to do
Those bearings are from your inner axle joint and can probably be reused, as long as there is no gouges in them. if you have never messed w/ axles just take it out and to a shop and they can reinstall those bearings in a snap. if there are damaged then just buy a new axle from autozone for $50.00 and use your messed up one for the core. simple
I am curious how your motor mount came apart though? what brand is it?

well from the looks of it it looks like the axle popped of nothing damaged though. and for the mounts. there stock ef mounts. any suggestions on how to upgrade on that? annd the previous owner chopped the springs. whatta no no. so bouncy. but it'll be on the road in no time. oh and the bolt looks like it just came loose. im not driving the car until i tighten and triple check everything.
and would i just put the jack under the tranny and lift. just cause my car is low and the jack can barely go under the car itself. annd last any step by step info on how to re-install the axle??

haha the same thing happend to me exept my mount ripped off man i went through 3 tranny mounts on dohc zc but yea the same exact thing happened to me the axle popped out the boot tore but it was all good got a homie at autozone to hook it up haha
so with those 3 bearings that came off the axle would i just snap them back on? annd would i be able to use a stock ef mount to replace the broken tranny mount? DOHC ZC motor by the way.

no you need a new axle. axles are super easy to replace though 15 minute job. get it at autozone they got life time warranty. and yea just get stock ef mounts the douche bag that sold you the car probably forgot to tighten them all the way.

I've never heard that before?? Head bolts yeas but not motor mount bolts??? I have always reused motor mount bolts and NEVER had a problem. You just make sure everything is tight, I've done so many motor swaps that I've lost count and again, no problems w/ mounts..........ever.

It clearly says "if removed, replace"
