Motor Mount inserts. (**edit** pics added)
Well, I figured out why my engine was banging/knocking when I'm driving around. The guy who sold me the car some how lost the rear motor mount bolt. As a precaution, I figure I would install the motor mount inserts (I actually thought I ordered bushings/mounts, but when it came it was inserts). My goal was to have the car COMPLETELY done today. It took me the whole day JUST to get the rear mount OUT the car. Not fun.... Not only that, but I removed the mount arm it self (since I had to find a bolt that will thread in and be the correct length). Is there any easier way to do this or am I doing like everyone else? Also what the hell is flash rubber, the directions said the mounts must be free of dirt, grease, and flash rubber. In fact, it went on to say that it is IMPERATIVE that there is no flash rubber.
I hope to have pics, when I'm done

Flash rubber is the "extra" stuff that is not needed. The thin little crap that you probably cut off before putting the inserts in anyway. Kind of like the excess junk that squeezed through during the molding process. Does that make sense?

Re: Motor Mount inserts. (orb)
Yep, I got it. Did a little google search and BLAM, found it.
Anyway here are some pics, I am taking pictures step by step for almost every bolt taken out. When I am done. I will have a COMPLETE walk-through on how to do it with pictures.
Here is a sample.
Flash removed.
Insert in Torque Mount out of the car.

Re: Motor Mount inserts. (jumai182)
They are not in yet, unfortunately my wife started working, so I have the kids and I won't be able to finish until friday. The motor mount is in, but not connected to the mount arm and I haven't driven yet.
Flash rubber is the the think flaky rubber that is not intended to be part of the mont. Rubber is poured into two halves of the mold and then pressed together. Some of the excesses rubber is squeezed betweent he molds and is formed as part of the mount. I will show a picture once I get the other mounts out.
