Are you having problems with drivers side axles more than anyone else when you're making power? I am and was wondering if there was a fix?
thanks,
Jared

i have mines welded, and i havnt had any probs. It's been like 2 years since my swap, also my engine is slightly unaligned. Meaning if u are standing in front of the car , and looking from left to right....its not completly straight. But i am starting to hear some clicking from the axles, when i turn, and the boots are not torn. So i will have to look into that. What problems are u having?? Also i have a usdm gsr, so its making some power.

I have a turbo B18C1 and using a spool for a differential. And true, the spool is hard on axles, but it's ALWAYS the drivers side outer joint that suffers.

So you're having problems with the same axle?

Yup... of course I'm using cheap remans each time (under warranty) but it's a pain

I don't think it's just because you're using cheap remans, my friends crx with a spool and my civic are always tearing out that same drivers side outer joing and we're both using OE honda axles, there has to be something to this, anyone else?

It was fine until I did some autocrossing... maybe that's what it was?
