The SPT grips better on dry pavement.
The SPT grips better on wet pavement.
The SPT lasts as long or longer.
The SPT costs no more and sometimes less, depending on size.
So it's pretty much a no-brainer IMNSHO.

Ok let me explain you a couple of thing on how it works in the tire ans wheel section.
1. If Nsxtasy recommends you a tire you listen to him as he probably has driven on them (he has tried alot of tires)
2. Nsxtasy know his ****! Don't even try to out smart him!
3. I have the SPT and I speak from experience (check my sig)
4. My dad as the g-forces and he regrets getting them because they are nowhere near the SPT in dry and wet performance!
5. The SPT is the best bang for the buck tire out right now!
Now a little something for you to know about me.... I got the Kumho 711 (horrible tire not where near the SPT) 2 years ago and Nsxtasy told me not to get them and me being the smart *** said what does this guy know. Well did I feel stupid after I wanted to shoot myself for getting these horrible things you could call a tire. They had no grip in dry or wet and braking was always a issue. Listen to the man up there he has tough me everything I know about tires!

I just put the SPT's on (per nsxtasy advice) and I love them........for what it is worth.
In my limited experience with them (about 600 miles), they are relatively quiet, provide very good wet traction, and good dry traction. Additonally, they do not provide any strange tracking issues.......overall, very happy with my purchase!
By the way, thanks, nsxtasy!
