have just completed auto to manual conversion every thing ok apart from vtec does not engage. is this because ecu light is on and the sport mode light is flashing?

 

what is the cel that it is throwing. need more info...

pop the cover on the passenger side by the center console, pull the blue plug (forget what its called), get a paperclip and make the two ends face the same side, and short it out. remember to leave the ignition on and the cel flashes. 1 long = 10, 1 short = 1

i know this sounds confusing

 

will it be best to put manual ecu in rather than running the auto one?
just to let you know the car is a gen 4 prelude 2.2 vtec jdm auto now running a manual box.

you did a manual conversion and your running the computer from your automatic transmission car for your manual car??? with manual car use manual ecu only

hi every one i have put manual ecu in. everything fine go like **** of a shoval.
