I picked up a brand new set of nrg engine dampener from my friend for cheap. Im trying to reduce wheel hop on my turbo ek hatch. Does anyone know when I remove the driver side motor mount bolts, Do I need to secure the motor on bottom with a jack or something??How difficult to remove the motor mount bolts i need to mount the dampener bracket on the mount. I have a air gun so Let me know who has the dampener on there ek civic>

 

I would secure it, it will move but not much. But the reason I would secure it is for when you put the motor mount back you can "jack it up" to get it back in easier.

 

I just need to remove the motor mount nuts not the motor mount itself
