Default Question About the Omni LCA.

I just got a set of omni lca in gold and was wondering if its possible to strip the gold off.


any tip would be nice.

Step 2. Buy the Function7 LCA.

I'm assuming they're anodized... If that's the case, just clean, prime, and paint...

You can easily strip any anodized part by soaking it in sodium hydroxide solution. To do this, buy some plumber's lye, mix it up in a tub, and soak the anodized part in it. The anodizing will be stripped off and you can polish the item after that.

Plumber's lye is abot $5 a bottle. That's cheaper than buying Function7 arms.

Remove bushings, or else you'll have to buy new ones. While you're there, remove the steel set screws too unles you want them to rust.
