HUH? what the heck. be specific on what you mean by "slow down" i know it will improve your weight distribution but as far as slowing down... your not going to be adding any extra weight to your car just putting it in a better spot

you will have less traction technically but it will be better overall. It aint gonna slow you down or speed you up.

Depends whether you want more equal weight distribution for handling or more weight on the driving tires for traction

"Why?"

I think he said this, cause instead of having the extra weight pushing down on your front wheels, youll have them on the opposite end. just like how those huge wings on the back will put more downforce on the back of your car, same type of thing, but less. it wont really decrease traction much, but technically it will
hope this answered your ?, i think thats what he meant anyways

I suppose this would make sense if we're just talking about straight line acceleration from a stop. My line of thinking was overall performance where the common belief is that while 50/50 weight distribution isn't going to happen, a 50% diagonal weight is still a good goal. Relocating the battery to the rear helps accomplish this. This is also why accusumps, weight ballasts, ignition boxes, etc. are usually located as far back on the pass side as you can (since the driver adds weight to the driver's side).

if you want to relocate your battery but want to keep it up front for weight dist(drag) then exospeed has a kit that puts the battery down low on the crossmember. not too sure of all the details but exospeedmaxcrx has the details.
