Ok guys, now do the Spoon B-series Thermostat help the R's ability to cool itself or is it the same as stock except it says spoon? What about the Spoon B-series Coolant sensor? I know that the magnetic oil drain plug helps out but what about the radiator cap? It's the same as stock except from spoon right?

 

The radiator cap from Spoon is not the same as stock - it raises the pressure inside the cooling system and this raises the boiling point...

 

You can buy a generic cap that does the same thing for way cheaper.

 

No way! Spoon radiator caps can hold more pressure because the sticker they put on top of it add to it's strength.

BTW, that drain plug can be purchased at your local autozone. Not worth the $$ in my opinion.
