I'm just wondering if anyone has done it, and if its just gonna make no difference at all or what.

i did this to my d15b1..kinda lost some low end torque but the top end really felt good..then i went to a regrind which made it scream..and to do this u need to put a y7 y8 cam gear..in my opinion when u already did mpfi this upgrade would really be good..jus my opinion

I got a question, can i use the d16a6 cam in my d15b2 (either before or after mpfi) with the d15b2 cam gear or is that going to cause problems?

i dont really kno but if u run stock cam gear its goin to be either advanced or retarded iono which...but a y7 y8 gear will work its like a 12 dollar part at the dealer

are y7 and y8 cam gears the same? why not just use an a6 cam gear? thanks for the info.

yes there the same..well the y7/8 corrects the timing thats pretty much all i kno
