I doubt either is insanely better than the other. Whichever you can get for cheaper

venom would be a better plan than obx.

he's talking about fuel rails not IM's. to the OP get whatever one you budget agrees with neither of the two is really "better" than the other. the AEM i believe has more ports to add additional pieces.

^^he asked about mani's too.

I'd go with the aem rail over any other out there. It hooks up like stock and does have an extra port or two.

Get the venom or go all out and get the Euro R manifold and make it work. Get the AEM rail b/c of fitment.

Disregard the Euro R since you have a VTEC model, but you are running a H23a1.

Yeah the OBX IM is ****, I've seen ppl lose power on the dyno with it...as for a fuel rail..I have an OBX, it bolted right up and fits well..no garentees it will for you though it's hit or miss with OBX.

Because it's a turbo manifold. If some retard put any FI intake manifold on they would loose power...OBX is just poor quality.

OP, get most any rail you want...not much difference.

That's what I've heard in regards to fuel rails, not much of a difference. They run about the same price, and I see more people with AEM which leads me to believe that AEM is a better route to take. In regards to IM's, I currently have an OBX, but I'm debating whether to go with the Venom instead. Has anyone actually USED the OBX IM with any gains? or any nightmare stories? also, with venom, has anyone actually used this IM? thanks guys

You really dont need an aftermarken fuel rail. You can waste the money if you want but unless you're running 600+ hp, I'd spend my money on something else. FYI, this is coming from someone who bought an AEM fuel rail.

I got a venom IM and rail. NICE. As to OBX they suck. The welds on most of their parts crack and they are just another shitty cheap brand. Their intake manni is a str8 knockoff of the old venom IM. Save the time, money and dissapointment, STAY AWAY FROM OBX!!!!!!!!

Has anyone ever seen pictures or actually heard of someone with an OBX intake manifold ON a Prelude? It seems like everyone always disses it but I've never seen the proof. Its always like my brothers, girlfriends, dad's, son had one on his car and it was shitty. I'm just asking since I got one from a friend a long time ago and the quality of it looks good. Just haven't had the time to install it.

My obx fuel rail coulden't hold the pressure when I want to a 255lph pump. The threads coulden't hold the bolts they all ripped themselves apart. Stay stock if possible.

theres no need to buy an aftermarket fuel rail untill your making BIG power.

unless you just want the bling

you will need to upgrade the rest of the fuel system before you need to upgrade the rail, it is the last thing you will need.

nice way to put it, thats exactly what i was going to say. Unless your power needs require a fuel pump bigger/better than a 255 walbro, you should just keep your stock rail.
