My Type R Wont Start!!!
Ok my car has been in storage over the winter however i have started it once a week and let it run for about 15 mins...last time i did this was 6 days ago...so tonight i go to the garage and try to start it and NOTHING...just a click...if i hold the key tryint to dtart it i just get consecutive clicking...i tried boosting it from my other cars battery but nothing...so its not the battery...also the lights turn on and my alarm works so it cant be the battery...
here's the thing...i have a compustar alarm/starter combo which was f*cked when it was installed (previous owner had it done) so sometimes it works sometims it doesnt and it does weird things...it has a built in kill switch so i have the biggest feeling when i turn off my car maybe the alarm is not reating it as being turned off...so the kill switch is still active??? does that make sense? i just have the biggest feeling its to do with this piece of crap alarm...but other than that what else could it be....my starter most likely?
thanks for the help
i should also add that when i try to turn on the car and i get that clicking sound...the little blue led light from my alarm flashes...im not sure if its always supposed to do that when starting the car or not...i cant remember...

The Kill Switch typically prevents any electricity reaching the starter. If your starter is "clicking" it could be on it's last legs if it hasn't already crapped out.
Take a wooden broom handle, bang the **** out of the starter and then try to crank it. LoL
That's the ghetto version of diagnosing a starter.

sounds like it doent have enough juice to start the car. and 15 minutes of ideling isnt enough to charge the battery after starting it. Also, if your alarm install was expletive up to begin with, then it may be draining the batter as well. I would always start with the cheapest problems first, and work your way up.

try to push start it first.. just keep playing with ignition at same time.. clutch rolling back forth.. whatever.. it should always start with 5 speed
