Default i need some help? on what to do

i have a 91 integ four door . im puting together a motor for turbo but do not know what way to go. do i go with a LS/vtec or stay with the LS i have ? but whatever i do its going to have pistons and rods .
so what do you guys think?
and i do no that Vtec is like 20-30 more hp

I guess it all depends in how much power you want to make, and where in the rpm range you want to make it... Stock for Stock a VTEC head outflows an LS head, however with porting, and other work an LS head can be made to flow very well. Since you are looking to boost, you will need to decide how much power you are looking for, and what the car will be used for. If you are after monstrous power, and the ability to turn 9,000 rpm I would suggest going with the VTEC head; if all you are after is a quick, street-able powerband stick to the LS head and spend the rest of the money elsewhere. If a B18c and a B18a(b) were both making 300whp, I can guarantee the B18a(b) is making more torque... the reason being that its powerband is lower in the rev range, and horsepower is a measurement of torque.
