once i get over 4 grand in rpm my tach jumps around and it is hard to determine where my motor is reving at . its almost bogging. ive never had this problem i put it in my 94 delsol. im wondering if any of you have had this problem and how did you fix it thanks

try replacing the ignitor inside ur distributor.. worked for me

 

Usually when you see the tach acting up like this its a sign of misfiring which is caused by either coil or ignitor.

I have just noticed this on my civic as well. But it happens between 5-7k and I don't feel or hear any misfiring. Is there a way to check the above mentioned coils and ignitors myself?
