Ok, I got my konis and my GC's. I'm pretty comfortable with how to install them on the car, I'm still scratching my head as to how to put them together (the koni's and the GC's)
A) Will the brake line bracket from the stock shock fit over the Koni shock and how to I get it off?
B) Do the GC threaded sleeves just sit on the perch that came with the koni's? it seems unstable
C) I didn't get directions for how to assemble my upper shock mounts with all the hardware / bushings / nuts that I got, and I want to make sure I got it right.
Can anyone help a brotha out?
Oh -and I was trying to install these yesterday, and it appears the bolt connecting the shock fork to the front LCA is seized inside the bushing! We tried air tools, we tried a BFH we tried PBlast it's just not goin anywhere, I guess my only option is to cut it out?

Ok, I see where that answers my question about the brake line bracket. But since he;s using stock top hats and everything he's doing more work than I am.
I still need to know how to assemble the GC's then I should be good to go .. I wish I got instructions

You in my same shoe from last week bro.I have to cut off both the bolt and drill it out.DONT buy those stupid bolt extractor or removal from autozone or sears.Just dremel it and drill it out.I am returing the bolt removal today actually..lol.Go from a small drill bit to a large bit just enough to put the new bolt in.While drilling, the bushing will probably burn a little, but just spray some wd-40 while drilling.PATIENCE!! took me about 3 days just to get it off.Look at my other post, i bent one of the strut rod so becareful!! TIPS:: go buy a drill from Sears and some titanium bits and return it after you're done with ther REceipt...

I want to try to avoid drilling it out, I was going to take a torch to the bushing and then cut the middle of the bolt out with a sawzaw.. what do you think?

Nut came off no problem, I used an impact, and the bolt won't spin freely at all, I put the nut on backwards and beat the expletive out of it with a sledge, WHILE the impact was on the bolt trying to spin it... no luch, we tried a pickle fork to seperate the shock fork and get some PBlast in there, still didn't do anything.. I'm running out of ideas. I'm thinking I'll need to replace the bushing and everything.
It's weird because the other side came out fine!

Thats very odd. I'd try getting as much pb blaster in there as you can and try using heat without burning the bushing as best you can. Other than that you might just have to replace some stuff.
Take off the whole lca and drill it.It will take a while, but be patience. You can let a machine shop press it out for you.I recommend taking it to a machine shop and press it out rather then buying new bushing and having to press that in too.GL bro.

I'll try a torch this weekend, should I be worried about heating the bushing too much? or the CV boot above it? I was thinking of shielding it with something, but I don't know...
Also, I'm still looking for instructions on assembling the GC top mount / coiliver on the shock body.

Sounds like you are having a ball with a seized bolt! I had it happen to me on the rear left shock. I eneded up just cutting the bolt dropping the rear LCA and buying a new one, lol.
