Ok right now I have a 1994 Honda Accord Ex Automatic..this summer I plan on converting to 5 speed just because im sick of the automatic transmission...also Im planning on getting a spare f22b1 motor and rebuilding it this summer and turboing it and dropping it into my car..so for the setup do you think it would be better to get the f22 5 seed tranny or h22 tranny...I know I would get better gas mileage with the f22..but the h22 has shorter gears and I would get better acceleration and better top end with the f22..I dont necessarily care about top end speed..I just want more acceleration which is why i plan on rebuilding and turboing the f22..any ideas..wat are some good ideas with rebuilding the motor also? any input is appreciated..Ive done a lot of research on this I just wanted some more opinions..thanks in advance!

seem like people with turbo F22's prefer to recommend the F22 tranny. If you are undecided though, you could split the difference and get a H23 tranny, somewhat middle ground between the F22 and H22 trannies.

 

thanks for the input man..im not to sure what im gonna do just yet..ive got a while to go though..gotta save up all that money to buy another f22b1..rebuild..then turbo..but just wanted some input before I do a 5spd swap this summer thanks
