Revv and Import SS???
Well, I'm planning on having my motor re-built. I'm thinking about having Import-SS do the motor work and RRev for the tuning.
I've always had good luck with Import-SS but I've heard a few bad things about RRev.
Can any of you guys that live in the area chime in?

I was reading a post in the all-motor forums. Some dude built a motor, took it to RRev to tune, yielded bad #'s, AF ratios were jacked, I dunno. I've always heard good stuff about them. Then, some kid at my work said they don't know what they are doing there. I mean, they tune Supra's and ****, so I don't see why they wouldn't be able to tune a Honda.
Jeff @ RRev.
Who ever says he can't tune a honda is smoking crack. He had a 460+WHP Full Race Kit Powered EJ1, on a built B16A. Seen it with my own eyes.
RRev has my vouch

First of all homie...I took a look at your EG after you bought it and fixed a couple of things for FREE...
Second of all...You should post up the post that you found on the all motor forums so we get the full story.
Third of all...The kid at your work that says WE DON'T KNOW **** is probably some DOUCHE BAG kid that THINKS he's the king of hondas.
And last....THERE ARE OTHER SHOPS OTHER THAN RREV THAT YOU CAN TAKE YOUR CAR TO THAT WILL DO A BETTER JOB FOR LESS MONEY.

Yes, I remember you Jeff. You are a cool guy. Fixed my fuel pressure issue.

That's the thread. I don't know where that graph went.
Dude at my work is a punkster, it just pissed me off hearing that from him right after I read that thread. I'm scraping every penny I have to get this thing running good again, and I want it done right. I have heard a lot of good things about RRev. I just wanted to hear other peoples experiences. I've PMd that kid to get some more facts, but haven't heard back...
I don't care if I have to spend the extra money, I just want my car tuned right. All the guy's at ImportSS can vouch for you guys I'm sure. I hear good things from them.

The owner of that car is THEUSED. He can tell you what's up with his setup. As far as tuning your car you can take it to Brian Green @ Groundzero or Wes @ Unnatural or even Intec up in Seattle. These are all reputable shops that have more experience and more skill than I do, since I only work on Supras.
Next time you want to find out feedback about a shop you should PHYSICALLY go to the shop in question and figure it out yourself instead of posting some JIBBER JABBER ABSOLUDACRIS shiet about RREV.

Easy Easy, The guy has a good idea making this thread so that he can hear from people all over the goods and bads of any company he intends to spend money on.
I think you took something he said as personal, when he was just expressing something he "heard" and because he "heard" it he decided to go online where there are many reputable that could tell him the same or other wise.
Don't criticize him for being cautious, I would do, and have done the same thing.
I.E. Any body know of a good inexpensive paint shop in the NW, ORegon specifically?

Your right Caleb...He's trying to figure out what shop he wants to take it to. That's fine with me.
However, He already brought his car over here for me to look at and gave him recommendations on what he should do with his setup and again fixed a couple things for FREE. So for him to post a thread saying how RREV motorsports as a WHOLE doesn't know anything is foolish. That's the **** that got me mad (mattonedime).
Like I said, there are other shops that you can take your car to (ground zero, unnatural, intec) Or you can buy Crome or Uberdata and tune it yourself.
This thread is in the wrong section. Mods move it....

I've tried to contact "THEUSED"
I never once posted anything negative about RREV. I was simply stating the fact that since you guys tune a lot of high HP cars I.E. Supras and what not, a little Honda should be no problem. It was more of a complement.
I didn't post this to diss you or anything bro. I just wanted a little info from people around here on there experiences, that's all. I was trying not to jump to any conclusions.
I had every intention of bringing my car to RREV and still do, John said it would be a good idea.
I'm a noob, can't help it. But I'm by no means "stupid", I'm cautious. Yea, I could have just gone there, but I figured I could get a straight answer here. I'm not trying to discredit your work Jeff, I hear it's top notch. I appologize for any misunderstanding, but if you re-read through my posts, you won't find anything that say's anything about you guys not knowing what you're doing.

Hey bro, I'll be heading back from the Philippines this Friday. I'll be driving the car back down to Vancouver from Seattle. Hook me up with some Dyno time so I can get my car all tuned up. BTW, my brother is going to need that block he bought from you sleeved, who you go through?
