Idle Rough after Skunk2 Manifold install.... any tips?
after the installation.. with several problems... everythign is running.. but the idle is running about 1300-1500 and it keeps moving up and down slowly as i'm at a light... any possibilities what this could be?
did u use a new TB gasket?
if so, take it out and use honda sealant from the tube instead.
same thing happened to me after install and the above tip worked like a charm

i reused the TB Gasket because it wasen't ripped... i'm going to adjust the idle screw soon.. just can't find a 8mm wrench laying around.. its a 8 right? but if i lower the screw still.. wont my car still move up and down in rpms but in lower rpms?..
It's probably your throttle body leaking, buy a newgasket and make sure it is lined up perfectly. Even if the gasket is off a little, a leak could still occur.
Its a vacuum leak somewhere. You can spray Carb cleaner around and see where it bubbles up for a leak.
Take off your intake and plug the upper-left most hole on the inside of the throttle body while the motor is running. If it dies down to a sputter, your FITV went bad.

U DONT JUST TURN THE THROTTLE SCREW THAT ISNT THE WAY U SET THE IDLE
sorry for the caps but every one says just turn the screw.
u are supposed to let ur car warm up
thenunplug ur tps sensor and then set ur idle where u want itBEST TO USE A HAND HELD TACH
then plug ur tps back in
then remove the back up fuse under ur hood for 10 sec then put the fuse in and start it up and just let it idle for a min or so so the ecu can learn the new idle so it wont start doing it again in a month
look in ur manual for exact details i done it a week ago i just cant remeber the details

on the subject of the skunk2 gsr i.m., can someone post a diagram of the t-fitting between the evap, pcv and the manifold??

You need to reset your base idle speed.
You don't uplug the tps to set idle, its the IAC(Idle Air Control valve) on the back of the intake manifold.
warm up
unplug IAC
set base idle to 450+-50 via brass tb screw
shut car off
plug IAC back in
pull back up fuse from underhood fusebox for 10sec to reset ecu.
