Frame repair project: 1992 Civic VX
This is my new project car, I bought it as a salvage at an insurance auction. This is the first project on the project car.
Welding in a new floorboard by where the driver's feet sit and banging out a big dent in the frame, and some other dents in the rest of the floorboards...

the funny thing is that this civic's body is in pretty good shape actually. This is one of the most rust-free local EH2 I've seen in a while... This rust hole really shocked me when I found it on the car... Amazing how the quarter panels are minty, but there's a friggin' rust hole at least 2" in diameter in the floor!
That big dent in the frame... I think I'm going to weld a bolt to the frame and use a slide-hammer to pull the dent out as much as I can...
also, I have to replace a fender and a rad cradle:

a keen eye will notice that the bumper support has a little bit of milano red still on it from it's former home... this car's been involved in another front end collision (other than the most recent one which happened before me buying it) and repaired at some point...
oh well the car's not a total piece of ****, here's a better looking pic of the new whip from a more flattering angle:

I will update this thread as the project moves along. Today I stripped the carpet out of the interior and started taking the dash out. I am going to swap the stock blue interior out and swap in a black interior, and a black Sparco Speed driver's seat... and maybe throw a cage in it... We'll see... I don't think that will happen this year.
Hopefully by this time next week I will have the soundproofing tar chipped away and rad support fixed.
I gotta make a date for this car to meet the spray booth, too. Respray w/stock color.
