My cel light came on in my 94' accord ex with an H22 swap in it. It comes on and off it doesn't stay on. I did do a cel check and code 12 EGR came on. One thing that i have noticed is that when i am driving at a constant speed and i it starts to sort of backfire redline sounding its an automatic. its doing this pretty consitently and i could even be going like 40 and the rpms at like 3500 stays there for a long while then it sometimes does a heavy shift or it will start doing a spitty type of effect. could anyone help me. i am using the f22b ex ecu. and i changed the sparks and distributor cap and the wires are in great condition.

 

Never thought the f22b1 ecu could work on H22....

It'll run... but I don't recommend it.

Get an H22 ECU. The fuel and timing maps in the F22's ECU are way off from there need to be to run an H22.

 

aight cool i'll change out the ecu and put in an h22 ecu
