drive belt
okay i need help by tonight to get my car on the road.. okay on the power steering pump there is a 14mm nut there that i loosen.. then on the top theres this 10mm aduster that loosen the belt i believe right. but before u do that you got to get the bolt nut that holds the ps pump into bracket loose right?
what about alternator belt.. i see the 14 bolt that goes in the bracket i'm pretty sure i loosen that.. but i don;t see a 10mm adjuster or even another bolt that holds the lower end of the alternator to the bracket.. thanks-
pics would be great..

It's usually best to posted the year/model and motor (if swapped) when asking for help. But if I remember correctly, you have a 95 EX?

I have pictures and descriptions in there on how to take off and adjust the tension of your PS belt and your alternator belt.

how do u get the alternator back into the bracket.. i tried hitting it with a hammer and it cut some wires on the way and it cracked the casing of the alternator. and its still not sitting flush.. anybody wanna help me?
to get the alternator out of the bracket I just use a big flat head screw driver and pry it out. To get it back in just work it back and forth to get it in all the way. If it's that hard there is something wrong. Is this a new alternator? If so, they may have given you the wrong one. It shouldn't be that difficult to put the alternator back into it's bracket.
well i only took the alternator out of the bracket halfway and its not going.. someone said there something they put on the alt itself so u can hit it with a hammer back into bracket... i don't know i can'tput the bolt into the alt and bracket.. only way is hammering it in but i'm damaging the casing of the alt and also i accidently hit the wires on the alt and shorted some out.. anyone have any more tips or something..
