Default drive belt

okay i need help by tonight to get my car on the road.. okay on the power steering pump there is a 14mm nut there that i loosen.. then on the top theres this 10mm aduster that loosen the belt i believe right. but before u do that you got to get the bolt nut that holds the ps pump into bracket loose right?

what about alternator belt.. i see the 14 bolt that goes in the bracket i'm pretty sure i loosen that.. but i don;t see a 10mm adjuster or even another bolt that holds the lower end of the alternator to the bracket.. thanks-

pics would be great..

It's usually best to posted the year/model and motor (if swapped) when asking for help. But if I remember correctly, you have a 95 EX?

Check out my timing belt write-up...

I have pictures and descriptions in there on how to take off and adjust the tension of your PS belt and your alternator belt.

to get the alternator out of the bracket I just use a big flat head screw driver and pry it out. To get it back in just work it back and forth to get it in all the way. If it's that hard there is something wrong. Is this a new alternator? If so, they may have given you the wrong one. It shouldn't be that difficult to put the alternator back into it's bracket.
