Question about installing piston rings (ring land related)
I've installed the rings on my CP fories.
The oil rings were a PITA to put on. I know they say it's important to not flex the rings so they can seat properly but installing the oil rings (the rails) were real soft and were pretty much had to be a bit flexed when opened to fit them on. The install of the expander was a breeze. Am i still ok here? Not any problems i can run into?
Another things was the installation of the rings gave the ring lands and the piston skirts some visible tiny scratches. But nothing you can feel with your skin or nail.. Is it ok to have very lite tiny scratches as a result of ring install?
I'm probably being real **** but i want some info from some experienced people. Thanks!

If you didn't break the rings putting them on your off to a good start. I like to do mine by hand. A tapered bore piston ring compressor is also a very nice tool to have.
