ive just started gearbox conversion on my gen 4 prelude 2.2vtec have all parts for the the job but my concerns are the ecu i have a manual ecu on the way will it be best to swap and will it need to be reset on a diagnostic computer.

 

Use the manual ecu.
To reset the ecu just pull the clock/radio fuse in the underhood fusebox or disconnect the negative battery terminal for 30 seconds.

Yes i have, The ecu connections? Yes they are the same.

just to let you know new gearbox in place just cot to connect electrics and gears and pedals.:-)
