When I attach the LS B18a1 ECU to the car it starts then dies. What is the problem? Then after I plugged the SOHC D15b1 ecu in it started and ran but only on two cylinders problem do to it being made for DPFI. I do have the OBO-0 to OBO-1 conversion harness so how do I get this to work for MPFI!

Questions:
1. You did a full dpfi to mpfi conversion?
2. You're using all the correct obd-1 components i.e. o2 sensor, distributor etc?

 

Solid code when you turn the ecu to the on position?

ecu could be dead, just a thought

 

any broken pins? you got all the obd2 parts?

 

Dead ecu might be it but I think I will check the wires out first

 

Should I still continue to use the SOHC ecu? I believe it may work if I rewire the dizzy
