Default pilot bearing

Is there a way to see if the pilot bearing is on the flywheel without pulling out the tranny? Maybe the clutch cover? I bought a new flywheel but forgot about the pilot bearing. When I went to go look in the box the flywheel came in, I didn't see the pilot bearing. The company I bought it from said it comes with it. So I'm hoping they put it the flywheel? kinda sucks to pull out the tranny again. Thanks

The pilot bearing is in the crankshaft. If you didn't pull it out, I'm sure it's still there. You will need to pull the transmission and clutch to get a look at it. How many miles are on your old one?

depends on the YEAR & MODEL
Most honda flywheels have the pilot bearing pressed into the engine side of the flywheel.

it was most likly pressed into the flywheel already, and all you had to do was bolt on the flywheel. If not, the trans has to come off, because its behind the flywheel.
