Default Help with my setup, I cant get it to stop smoking!!! And some other problems.

I have 2 problems with smoke. One is smoke from the exhuast, and the other is from oil leaking onto my header.

Here is my setup:

Stock b18b block
b16 head (port & polished, 3 angle valve job, ITR valve train, b16 cams)
GSR tranny
ClutchMaster stage 3 clutch
A buch of earls fittings and braided SS hose for Vtec oil line.
GSR oil pump
DC JDM ITR header
Custom 2.5" test pipe
p28 w/mugen chip
B & M FPR w/guage
Energy suspension engine mount inserts
GSR timming belt cover
GSR power steering mount
A bunch of new OEM gaskets
New fluids
New timing belt

And probably some other stuff I am forgeting.

We got done with it last week and I ran it in the 1/8 for the first time today. I ran a best of 9.924, all of my runs were in the 9.9 range.

Anyways, between my exhaust and the smoke coming from the burning oil on my header, it causes smoke to barrle out the back of my car.

The main think Im worried about is the smoke coming out of the exhaust. Its kinda a whitish smoke, but I am not very good at telling the difference between the colors of smoke and what they mean yet. I was afraid that I was burning oil, but I checked my spark plugs, and they were as dry as could be(they were a little white though).

Could it be because Im eiter running lean or rich?

The smoke comes when I rev the motor up, it bearly ever smokes when it is just idling.

Speaking of Idle, the idle won't go below 1400-1500. When we first got the motor done it was idleing at 950, but now it went up. Could it have to do with my fuel pressure?

Any info would help!!!!

if you have oil coming out of your header, then u have a serious problem. Cracked Ringlands or beat rings. White smoke usually means coolant. Pull your plugs and tell us what color they are. Chances are that you blew your head gasket and damaged rings.

Its not smoke burning out of my header, its smoke burning off of my header. Im leaking oil onto my header form my intermediate shaft. I Think I know where its coming from now. I also just cheked the seal on my Vtec solenoid, and it apears that oil is leaking from there too. Im going to go try to fix that now.

As for blowing my head gasket, I don't know?!?!?!? Would I loose compression if I did? Would it burn oil? I checked my plugs last night, and they are as dry as can be, no oil on them at all.

The majority of the smoke is coming from the oil burning OFF of the header, on the outside of it. I can see the oil drip on to the collector of the header(right by the o2 sensor), then burn off.

Oh, the smoke that comes from my exhaust when I rev it up doesn't appear to be blue at all. I don't have enough experience with smoking cars to really beable to tell the difference though. Right after it started smoking I took it to a import mechanic and he said it was just from running so rich with the mugen chip. Right now, Im just going to concentrait on getting the oil leaks stopped.
