Default gas leak

i replaced my fuel filter and theres a leak when i start it...the new filter came with 3 washers (2 big and 1 small) but i only took off 1 big and 1 small from the old 1. so do i put both of the new big washers on for the new filter or is 1 just an extra?? also, the new washers are thinner than the old 1...and i already tightened the **** out of the banjo bolt so why the leak!

the "big" washer, one goes on the top of the banjo bolt and one on the bottom, the little washer is if you have the fuel pressure test port on the top of the bolt, not all banjo bolts have this

so ur saying that the 3rd washer (the other big 1) is extra? i mean why would i have to put on 2 washers on one bolt right?

the fuel hose banjo fitting gets sandwiched between 2 crush washers, 1 on top, 1 on the bottom, and 25 lb/ft is not "bolt that bitch down hard"

Yea i got it. that 3rd washer was an extra one. i just went back and tightened the **** outta the banjo and its no longer leaking. although im still bogging so i guess the real issue is the timing...but thanks all!

well, most people really don't tighten the bolt down hard enough, and gasoline tends to leak or spray everywhere.. That's why I said that.
